Coconuts will be re-opening for the 2013-14 season on November 23th! The bar with its special tapas menu will begin serving at 5pm, garden dinner service will begin at 6pm. The management, Chef David Dawson and our entire Coconuts staff look forward to welcoming you!

Housed in the oldest building in Zihuatanejo, Coconuts Restaurant has been a centerpiece of the community for over 30 years. The unique mixture of gourmet Mexican and lively international cuisine served in our garden dining “room” delights our customers’ palettes year after year. Our guests also come for the lively bar where many locals frequent for cocktails, our fun bar menu and, of course, to catch up with other friends passing by. We believe our service to be the best in town with a staff that is attentive and well trained.

Our menu changes with the season, reflecting the bounty that is available at the Zihuatanejo open air market as well as the freshest seafood caught locally. If something isn’t available fresh, it isn’t on the menu! By combining seasonal local produce with rich imported spices and oils, Chef David Dawson creates an evolving and curious menu that celebrates the best of international cuisine and local stewardship.
